The 24 Coolest Under-$100 Items Our Editors Have Seen This Month
All I can say to preface what you’re about to come across is this: Brace yourself. After all, I had to. While I was expecting that reaching out to my fellow editors to see what under-$100 items they’ve been eying this month would possibly save me some money by shopping on the more affordable side for summer, it has somehow left me with more items in my cart than I could have possibly imagined—and definitely no funds to be saved.
From swimsuits and tops to dresses and sandals, below you’ll find everything you need for a stylish season ahead and more, with every item coming in under $100 (oftentimes well under). Furthermore, whether your style is super classic or you live for the latest trends, there’s definitely something for everyone. Just keep scrolling to get started, and when it’s all over, don’t forget that I warned you.
After seeing these on Revolve's Raissa Gerona, I became instantly obsessed with the color and ribbed material.
I think we all have swimsuits on our minds right now, and this affordable bikini set from Triangl is just one of the many I'm loving for the season ahead.
Topshop has the best summer dresses, every year.
These look five times their price, and here's the proof.
"I used to hate one-shoulder tops, but after sitting next to our market editor, Nicole, for almost two years now, my mind has been changed. I think they are a fun and easy alternative to a basic tank top, and luckily they are extremely affordable."
"Sure, this is technically a bikini top, but I have every intention of wearing it far away from the beach, too.”
"Still trying to figure out how this top is both simple and yet so damn cool.”
"Our editor Allyson put these in a story recently, and TBH I haven't stopped thinking about them since."
"Gingham suddenly feels fresh in this oversize scale. I'll be adding this swimsuit into my vacation wardrobe this summer."
"And yes, I'll be wearing the top with these matching bottoms."
"Okay, another swimsuit. Can you tell where my mind is right now? This one-shoulder silhouette is a great spin on the one-piece.”
"I'm currently thinking of all the things I'd wear this subtly summery tank with."
"I rarely wear bodysuits, but I'd definitely wear this one."
"I'll never have enough throw-on-and-go dresses, so I'm adding this pretty one to my arsenal."
"The color and cut of this shirt are simply perfect, and oh so on trend."
"I've been really obsessed with leopard lately, so these bikini bottoms (and the top below) have been on my radar.”
"I love investing in cute bikini sets because in the summer I'll literally just run around—even for errands—in cut-offs, a bikini top, and something lightweight and maybe a littleeee bit see through up top. (Like this!) Maybe this is the (non-fashion) beauty editor in me, but I have no patience for putting together outfits in the summer! I want to be as comfortable and minimal as possible.”
"I'm obsessed with layering my collection of Cinco necklaces, but this spring I've been on the hunt for the perfect anklet. And now I've found it."
"I'm also obsessed with polka dots this season, and my mouse has been lingering over this adorable top from Reformation.”
"H&M's swim section is so good. I can't wait to wear this trendy zebra print one-piece (love the spaghetti straps!) from beach-to-bar this summer."
"The solution to my summer work wardrobe? These chic pastel yellow linen pants."
"These versatile raffia sandals are incredibly easy to wear with my entire wardrobe this summer."
Up next? The best summer dress brands, according to me.
Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here at Who What Wear, and she is currently Editor-at-Large. It was a less expected route, seeing as she was graduating from business school at USC when this all began, but it has turned out to be the best one for her. Fast-forward to 2020, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was an intern starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to classic pieces and neutral basics but will always make an exception for something colorful, printed, or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a good party is dressing up for one. On weekdays, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious for dinner and trying to force her husband to watch 90 Day Fiancé.
