"Over-the-knee boots are my absolute favorite type of shoe," Schroeder told Who What Wear. "A flattering, easy, and classic wardrobe is always what I strive for. And over-the-knee boots, while they can easily toe the line of looking too sultry, can also can be incredibly timeless and versatile. On Stassi Schroeder: Zara Romper; Drifter Sweater; Chloé Drew Small Crossbody ($1,850); Stuart Weitzman Highland Over the Knee Boot in Topo ($798).

"This is a great seasonally transitional outfit. Over-the-knee boots shouldn’t only be kept for fall and winter. I love a good roomy romper with boots—I feel like it balances out the Pretty Woman vibes of thigh-high boots. And this long, cozy sweater lends a relaxed feel to the look."

On Schroeder: Thurley Dress; Chanel Bag; Stuart Weitzman boots.

"I don't want to give off overtly sexy vibes, so dealing with a pair of black leather boots is a delicate thing for me. This is why I do my best to look 'granny chic' whenever I wear them."
