Queen Rania Has Worn the Chicest Outfits on Her Tour of Japan

Los Angeles and New York City are far from the only places we spot stylish women. Meghan Markle showed off a slew of outfits in Australia, Brigitte Macron looked impeccable in Belgium, and Michelle Obama wore power pantsuits on her U.S. book tour. Now, Queen Rania of Jordan is our latest obsession. She has embarked on a royal tour of Japan and packed plenty of chic looks for the trip.

Arriving in Tokyo, Queen Rania schooled us in posh airport style: She wore a furry coat with side-stripe trousers, which is equal parts comfortable and stylish. For a meeting with Japan's First Lady, Akie Abe, the queen opted for a black blouse with statement sleeves, a printed midi skirt, and every royal's favorite accessory: the top-handle bag. (By the way, how perfect does the first lady look in her sleek beige dress?) Scroll down to see everything Queen Rania has worn in Japan and shop her looks.

Next up, the six trends Kate Middleton never wears anymore

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
