I'm Predicting Free People's Next 26 Cult-Favorite Pieces

If you've been paying close attention to my stories, you'll know that I've previously shared my predictions for the next cult-favorite pieces at Madewell, Nordstrom, H&M, and Mango. We aim to please here at Who What Wear, so naturally, I've picked some of our readers' favorite brands for this series. The next crowd-favorite retailer on the docket? Free People.

I don't know about you, but when I think of Free People, I think of a breezy patterned "boho" dress—but I promise you that the brand has much more range than that. One of my favorites on this list: the oversized scrunchies available in a rainbow of different colors. Instagrammable yet functional, I have a feeling the scrunchies will be a great mood-boosting purchase for more than a few of you. Scroll down to shop the pieces I think will become the most popular items at Free People.

Yep, this is exactly the kind of comfort level I'm seeking right now.

Trade your basic gray sweatpants for some cheery yellow ones.

How fun are these oversized scrunchies in a rainbow of different colors? I love how this model layered both the light blue and yellow versions in her hair. Very Instagrammable.

I can never resist a good Little White Dress—especially if it has puff sleeves.

This lavender floral print is so sweet.

Match your cardi to your tank top—it's the cool thing to do.

The puff-sleeve trend is not going away, folks.

Bucket hat recommended but not required.

Finally: A blanket that's socially acceptable to wear outside.

There will be events again eventually, and when they come, this is what I'll want to wear.

This is the perfect soft, slouchy sweater for summer nights—just as the name suggests.

A white tank top is one of the most versatile clothing items you could own.

Like I've said before, a casual midi dress is the most underrated basic of summer.

I always love an ethereal maxi dress for summer.

This would look so cute with a pair of white denim shorts.

I adore how this is styled with paperbag-waist shorts.

Such an easy-to-wear silhouette for summer.

When you just don't feel like wearing anything form-fitting.

This is perfect for pairing with the slip dress above.

I can never resist a good matching set.

The tie-dye trend is not going away anytime soon.

Square necklines can make a simple item look so elegant.
