Mary-Kate and Ashley Just Wore the Exact Same Coat, Shoe and Bag Combo

It's not often we're treated to an Olsen sighting, so when it does happen, it's important to pay attention. Give us both twins at once, and our fashion minds (and wardrobes) are just about ready to go into overdrive. Today is one of those rare days. On this chilly November afternoon in New York, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted out together in equally chic cold-weather ensembles, wearing oversized coats, ankle-grazing trousers and simple sneakers.
Mary-Kate Olsen wore her croc-effect The Row Marguax bag with a longline burgundy coat—one of this season's breakout colour trends that everyone is Googling). Piling on another trending autumn tone, Olsen topped off her look with a knitted mustard beanie for a casual and cosy take.
Opting for a more structured silhouette, Ashley styled a camel coat from the sisters' own line, opting for The Row's Anderson Double-Breasted Cashmere Coat (£8540). Accessorising her coat with The Row's Bowling Bag, Olsen injected a casual twist with the addition of sunglasses, a tote bag and black trainers. So the approved memo goes as follows: oversized coat, ankle-grazing trousers, bag in crook of arm and trainers. And then you're an Olsen. Well, almost.
Queens of cool since they first graced our screens all those years ago, the Olsen twins do chic outfits like no one else. Praised for their cool spin on minimalist dressing, their acclaimed label The Row has been letting us in on their secrets (at eye-wateringly steep price points) since 2006. Whilst the Olsens' clothing line is rife with elegant summer staples, in my opinion, it comes to life in the latter half of the year, as the weighty, luxurious fabrics have a chance to interact with each other in layered looks. With a penchant for structured and occasionally grungy dressing, The Row's timeless collection encapsulates the sisters' style perfectly.
