As a fashion editor who has lived in L.A. for over 15 years, I love to observe and keep an eye on what cool trends and styles Angelenos are wearing at any given time. Whether I'm having coffee at a café post-Pilates, shopping at the coolest vintage stores, sipping a martini at my favorite restaurant, attending a fashion event after work, or sitting in the school pickup line, there's always a ton of fashion inspiration to revel in from Silverlake to Santa Monica.

L.A.'s relaxed vibe combined with the pleasant year-round weather allows for a little more flexibility and fun when it comes to fashion styling. Think a faux-fur coat paired with a tank top and sleek minimalist sandals or a funnel-neck jacket with cute shorts and boots. While L.A. winters may not call for heavy faux-fur coats, we are certainly seeing plenty of faux-fur accents and accessories around town. Think faux fur–trimmed sweaters and coats as well as faux-fur scarves thrown over jackets.
