It's not always easy to keep the chicness level of your outfits high when the temps dip low, which is why I always look to the style set in Paris for outfit inspiration at this time of year. French women maintain that effortlessly chic and polished look even in freezing temps—and there's one key item that they turn to for this: a great faux-fur coat. The elegant textured topper is a mainstay in practically every French woman's winter wardrobe, and with the trend dominating globally this year, I've been seeing sumptuous faux-fur coats in full force this winter. (Not to mention plenty of faux-fur accessories too.) Most often styled with simple casual jeans and basics, the rich-looking coat really makes the outfit—whether you go for a charming short silhouette or a calf-length statement style.

While faux-fur coats can often come with an expensive price tag, below I wanted to list some of my favorites for all budgets this season.
