Kensington Palace confirmed the news this morning, stating that "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well." The new boy joins 4-year-old Prince George and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte. Congratulations to the new family of five! We can't wait to catch our first glimpse at the mini royal.
The royal family first confirmed the Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy back in September, but Middleton didn't debut her baby bump until mid-October. Since then, we've enjoyed her impeccable pregnancy style, from her royal trip to Sweden and Norway to her first joint appearance with Meghan Markle. (Side note: Who's excited for the family's next milestone, Markle's wedding to Prince Harry?) Stay tuned as we learn more about baby number three.
