It's Monday, July 3. Do you know what that means? Nope, it's not just the day before the Fourth of July—it's the official start of Wimbledon. If you don't know your forehands from your volleys, don't fret: The tennis tournament boasts plenty of action in the fashion department. Specifically, two women always turn up to Wimbledon dressed to the nines: Anna Wintour and Kate Middleton, who both share a love of the game. (Yes, they both play the sport, as well.)
The Duchess of Cambridge, in fact, is the official patron of Wimbledon— a title she took over from the Queen. From Alexander McQueen frocks to Zimmermann numbers, Middleton seems to save her chicest dresses for the annual event. Wintour, too, never misses a style beat at the tournament: She favors printed coats and dresses to cheer on Roger Federer from his player's box.
