J.Lo Just Wore the Naked Version of 2023's Most-Wanted Platforms

If we had to zero in on the one wardrobe item Jennifer Lopez favors most, it would have to be platforms. But not just any platforms—the 5'5'' singer and actress has frequently been seen in sky-high platforms with lifted heels. In fact, she's rarely seen in shoes that aren't platforms, let alone in flats. But of all the pairs in her collection, the ones she debuted on Instagram this weekend are by far the most impressive.

In photos taken on the set of a shoot for her pre-made cocktails brand Delola, Lopez wears a neutral outfit by Brunello Cucinelli, a Yuzefi tote bag, and the 2023 version of Cinderella's glass slippers: 6" Valentino platforms made almost entirely out of clear plexiglass and polymer. The $1700+ pumps are new, though you might recognize the shape as they have been one of the year's most popular shoes.

Valentino's Tan-Go platforms debuted alongside a slew of hot-pink looks at the brand's F/W 22 show. Already they've been spotted on Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Blake Lively, Florence Pugh, and Dua Lipa, to name only a few. But leave it to Lopez to be among the first to debut the latest version, which gives new meaning to the naked-shoe trend
