J.Lo's New Favorite Accessory Should Probably Only Be Attempted If You're J.Lo

Jennifer Lopez continues to solidify herself as a modern-day style icon. She's currently in Milan for fashion week, so no better time to prove her icon status, right? Her style is inarguably iconic, but that certainly doesn't mean that what she wears has to be accessible, per se. Case in point: Lopez stepped out yesterday wearing a very controversial hat in not one but two different colorways, and it came straight off the Sally LaPointe S/S 20 runway at New York Fashion Week, as did each of her entire looks for the day. The tall, structured bucket hats were custom-made for the runway (as were the two-tone shoes she wore), so we wouldn't be surprised if they gave her the exact hats the models wore.

You obviously can and should wear whatever you want, and hats are certainly a big trend (as evidenced by recent street style), but, honestly, unless you have a driver and bodyguard to guide you and open doors (à la J.Lo), the sight-obscuring hats might be best left to those with an entourage that travels with them.

Keep scrolling to see the looks with your own eyes, and shop slightly more accessible hats (that J.Lo would still approve of).
