If Jennifer Aniston Thinks This Shoe "Mistake" Is Okay, So Do We

Since she rose to fame in the '90s, Jennifer Aniston has always stayed true to her preferred aesthetic: simple and classic. She doesn't take a lot of risks, which is perfectly fine, but when she does, we certainly pay attention. Truth be told, we're not sure that she necessarily saw her latest risky wardrobe move as being that controversial, but others may disagree. The risky move we're referring to is brown shoes with an all-black outfit.

Aniston just paired lace-up brown leather hiking boots (trend alert!) with a long black coat, black skinny pants, and a black suede bag. Many consider wearing black and brown together to be a style mistake, but we and Aniston seem to be in agreement that the pairing can actually add interest to a look. Plus, black and brown are both neutrals, so why wouldn't they go together?

Wherever you may stand on the matter, we think we can all agree that brown ankle boots are a wardrobe staple. Keep scrolling for proof of that, and to see how Aniston pulled off the black-and-brown combo.
