An Effortless Way to Pull Off Major Hoop Earrings

We already jumped on the large hoop earrings bandwagon earlier this summer, but the accessory‘s covet-worthy status jumped up a few notches in our eyes thanks to this inspiration from Sara Donaldson of the blog Harper & Harley.

The Australian blogger took our jewelry obsession to the next level with her minimal yet statement-making double hoop earrings. However, our main takeaway from this cool look was how exactly to pull them off without looking overdone or over the top. Donaldson manages this by keeping her look straightforward and simple: She pared down her earrings with a sheer black turtleneck knit, cropped raw-hem black jeans, and slip-on black patent loafers. Basically, she let the earrings do all the talking, and we are so on board.
