These Nordstrom Shoes Are the Foundation of a Perfect Spring Capsule Wardrobe
I recently wrote about how I’m a bag person, but I’m also a shoe person (and a sunglasses person). I even recently joked that while some people notice someone’s eyes first when they meet them, I notice their shoes. That's definitely hyperbolic, but it’s never in judgmental way—I just really like shoes.
When it comes to my own pairs, I’m quite picky. Living in New York City means I walk a lot, so I don't wear anything with over a two-inch heel since I refuse to have my feet hurt. Because of that, I love kitten heels, ballet flats, and knee-high boots (the Blanca Knee High Boot is my current go-to pair). I also rarely wear sneakers outside the gym, and for long walks I usually prefer something like a walkable Mary Jane instead.
Lately, I’ve been eyeing several pairs of shoes from Nordstrom brands like Camper, Ferragamo, G.H. Bass, Stuart Weitzman, Tory Burch, and Vagabond. After browsing through hundreds of products, I rounded up the styles that feel like the foundation of a spring capsule wardrobe—whether you’re into flats, sneakers, heels, clogs, or something else.
