Whether it's part of your daily uniform or the thing you look forward to changing into the minute you get home, cashmere loungewear is the crème de la crème of comfortable clothing. Many of the women in my life—friends and family whose personal style I truly admire—prioritise comfort just as much as style, and they’ve taught me that you can wear joggers, sweatpants, jumpers, and hoodies while still looking elevated and put together. One of the most effective ways to achieve this is with cashmere. Not only is it luxuriously soft and a joy to wrap yourself in, but it also looks far more refined than your average matching sweater-and-joggers set.
In this round-up, I've curated a list of the best cashmere loungewear pieces that are high quality and offer top-tier details, whether it's a feature (like a removable hood or soft cuffs) or a special type of cashmere. But before we dive in, I find it's helpful to know a little more about what you're buying exactly. Materials are tricky, as not every company shares the exact materials they use, nor do they share the grade or where it's sourced.
A little background information: Cashmere is graded into three categories, A being the highest quality, B sitting in the centre and C being the lowest. The hair of higher grades are softer and thinner and they become coarser and thicker the lower the grade. The goats that your cashmere comes from can change the texture, as can how it was processed. It's also worth noting that even if you buy something in a lower grade, it can still be comfortable, look good and oftentimes come at a much more affordable cost—especially if it's blended.
I've included both pure cashmere garments as well as blends. Blends are often more affordable (and incorporate wool, cotton or polyester) and sometimes they're more comfortable for the wearer, depending what kind of materials feel best to you. Now that that's covered, scroll on for the most delightful cashmere pieces to add to your rotation.

The Best Wide-Leg Cashmere Trousers:
The Best Cashmere Jumper:
Style Notes: This has been my favourite jumper to wear all season. The crew neck and relaxed fit are so comfortable, the cashmere is buttery soft (and ethically sourced) and it works with both leggings or jeans.
Materials: 100% Good Cashmere Standard (GCS) cashmere.
Colours: Beige, navy, pink and black.
Sizes: XS–XL.
The Best Cashmere Socks:
Style Notes: Slip into cashmere socks, and you'll never want to wear any other material again. What makes this pair so great, aside from their softness, is that they're thinner, so you can wear them inside whilst lounging or wear them with shoes on the coldest winter days.
Materials: 100% cashmere.
Colours: Beige and navy.
Sizes: One size.
The Best High-Neck Cashmere Jumper:
Style Notes: A high-neck jumper always looks elevated, even if you're in full loungewear attire. This soft blend of wool and cashmere comes in so many colour options too to best match what's already in your wardrobe.
Materials: 70% merino wool, 30% Mongolian cashmere.
Colours: Navy, brown, black, grey, cream, teal, pink, burgundy and olive.
Sizes: XS–XL.
The Best Cashmere Joggers:
Style Notes: A quick caveat: Although these say pure cashmere in the name, they actually have 1% polyamide. A little irksome, but that gives these stretch and doesn't take away from how comfortable they are. Their silhouette is undeniably chic and truly pays into the hushed luxury trend.
Materials: 99% cashmere, 1% polyamide.
Colours: Mushroom brown.
Sizes: XXS–XL.
The Best Investment Cashmere Jumper:
The Best Cashmere Trousers Under £100:
Style Notes: These cosy trousers are long and warm, keeping you comfortable all winter long. They're mostly comprised of wool, but have a portion of cashmere in their composition to give them a luxe edge.
Materials: 90% wool, 10% cashmere.
Colours: Light beige.
Sizes: XXS–XL.
The Best Cashmere Hoodie:
Style Notes: If you love the casual feel of a hoodie, this cashmere pick is perfect. It's a soft choice made with Mongolian cashmere that has a weight of 345g. The hood is detachable, too, so you can decide to wear it as is or as a crew-neck jumper.
Materials: 100% cashmere.
Colours: Beige, toffee brown, pink and white.
Sizes: XS–XL.
