Keep scrolling to discover the seven outfits chic dressers (and now me) will be wearing on repeat this July.
July is finally here! After two heatwaves and a likely third on the way, I’m in desperate need of some easy but elegant outfit formulas to see me through until early autumn. My first port of call? The myriad of warm-weather Instagram looks I saved earlier this year. Unlike me, who often finds herself panicking on a daily basis about what to wear, it seems like all of the polished dressers I follow have an outfit for every single occasion possible. We all know that the UK weather is nothing if not unpredictable, so after hours of trawling through the feeds of my favourite fashion people, I’ve managed to narrow my attention down to seven easy-to-recreate outfit ideas that are well-suited for any sort of weather the new month might throw at us.
Now, as someone who considers themselves a minimalist, I certainly wasn’t looking for anything that looks or feels too out there for my pared-back sense of style. However, this doesn’t mean that the looks I’ll be copying in July are in any way boring. In fact, every outfit in my edit below focuses on elegant but elevated elements that feel fresh for summer 2026, while still remaining timeless enough for my fellow anti-trend dressers.
And if you, too, were looking for some inspiration on what to wear this month, then luckily, I’ve rounded up the best of the best below. Keep scrolling to discover the seven outfits chic dressers (and now me) will be wearing on repeat this July.
7 Chic Outfits That Will Make Dressing Easy This July
1. T-Shirt + Jeans + Mesh Flats
Style notes: To make my jeans work for the warmer days in July, I’ll be taking a cue from the outfit above and pairing it with an easy t-shirt, breezy mesh flats and some statement accessories. It’s very simple, but undeniably chic.

I own this and everyone mistakes it for designer.
2. Mini Dress + Ballet Flats + Raffia Tote
Style notes: Dress season is finally upon us, and on those days I want to look put together with minimal effort, I’ll be opting for a mini cotton or linen iteration, and contrasting the relaxed fabric with a pair of polished ballet flats.

3. T-Shirt + Knee-Length Skirt + Flip-Flops
Style notes: As much as I love my midi skirts, knee-length skirts are just as versatile and also come with a chic ‘90s feel to them. Lean into the polished vibe and style one with a tonal tee and elegant heeled flip-flops.

4. Blouse + Jorts + Sandals
Style notes: On those days, it's too hot for my jeans, so I’ll be turning to my denim shorts as a lightweight alternative. The easiest way to dress them up? Opt for a pretty blouse and sleek sandals that can be worn on a casual office day and a summer evening out alike.

5. Linen Co-Ord + Flip-Flops
Style notes: We can't have a summer outfit round-up without including linen of some sort, and for 2026, I'm giving this breezy fabric a fresh update in the form of a sleek black co ord.

6. Top + White Skirt + Sandals
Style notes: Sometimes less is more, and a plain black tee and cotton white skirt combo will never fail you. To make the outfit feel slightly fresher for 2026, I’ll be adding a pair of trending two-tone flip-flops to finish off the look.

7. Top + Lace-Trim Shorts + Loafers
Style notes: After years of spotting fashion people in lace-trim shorts, I finally decided to invest in a pair myself this summer. When you want to dress down for a casual day out, a simple tee and leather loafers will do the trick.
