Trust Me—Buy These 23 Things

Trust Me—Buy This is a monthly series where our market editor, Nicole Eshaghpour, makes her favorite real-life fashion finds shoppable for Who What Wear readers.

In case you’re new to this, today I’ll be rounding up my favorite items of the moment with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing this month.

So what's on the docket today? All things spring! From outfits to accessories, expect a mix of trends, classics, new pieces, repeat offenders, a few too many shoes, and, of course, a mix of high-end investment pieces and budget-friendly steals I think you’ll love. Ready to shop? Simply scroll down to see and read about my picks.

I love this outfit for a few reasons but mostly because it signals that spring is here! But really, I'm all for an easy matching set, and the white mules are a great departure from black.

Shop the matching Genny Pants ($138).

Remember when I got all excited about the black-and-white trend? I'm still going. This sweater from Pixie Market is an easy way to make my usual denim look just a little more interesting while still keeping it simple. Sadly, it's sold out, but I've found a similar style for you below.

I don't think my personal bias could possibly be the only reason I think these Who What Wear collection mules are beyond amazing. I mean, look at them! And at $35, you don't necessarily need to make the impossible choice between black and nude.

Two transitional weather–ready pieces I've been wearing on repeat lately are this Aritzia jacket (which I got last year and couldn't wait to bring back) and these Bldwn shiny leather pants. They're both just cooler versions of essentials and make for a pretty great combo.

The number of times I've used this cardigan since getting it has actually shocked me. It has a cute, single button and is cut similar to a blazer, so it is perfect for wearing for work or on the weekend layered over a turtleneck or tee.

Pretty sure these shoes speak for themselves.

I recently invested in this miniskirt and have a feeling it's going to serve me very well over the next few years. It's definitely classic, but the belt makes it feel like more of a fashion piece than a basic. The shoes are a pair of Manolo slingbacks I stole from my mom a few years ago, and they go perfectly with pretty much any outfit.

One of my tricks when it comes to party dressing is to just keep accessorizing black dresses in different ways. Here, I paired a simple (but amazing) slip dress with a crystal belt and velvet, crystal-embellished bag.

Okay, I have to admit—I haven't bought these sandals yet, but I really want to. I feel like once the weather in NYC turns sandal-appropriate, they could be my go-to everything sandals. I think it's because they remind me of my beloved Western boots but in spring-ready form.

Speaking of Western things, how could anyone not be absolutely delighted by a pair of jeans that have a built-in Western belt?

Have you gotten on board with shackets yet? They're great. This one is a Proenza Schouler find I got on sale, but since there are only a few left, I've also found a similar and more affordable style below.
