Trust Me—Buy These 22 Things

Trust Me—Buy This is a monthly series where our market editor, Nicole Eshaghpour, makes her favorite real-life fashion finds shoppable for Who What Wear readers.

In case you’re new to this, today I’ll be rounding up my favorite items of the moment with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing during this much-welcomed first month of spring.

So what's on the docket today? Well, due to some traveling plus the transitional weather we've been experiencing, I'll admit it's a little all over the place. From heels to everyday sandals, party outfits to workout clothes, expect a mashup of trends, classics, new pieces, basics I wear on repeat and, of course, a mix of high-end investment pieces and budget-friendly steals I think you’ll love. I rarely switch up my sunglasses, but as soon as I put this pair on, I couldn't take them off. I like how they are slightly lighter than the all-black pair I wore all winter, and they feel classic but not basic.

This bag is perfect for wearing day to night because it fits all your essentials without looking too big. I also love how the bright white makes any outfit feel spring-ready. Enter to win your own here.

I had to get my hands on a pair of Chanel's new It-mules before they were gone, and, after much debate, I landed on this all-black pair because I felt like (knowing myself) I'd use them the most.

One of the latest additions to my everyday jewelry look has been this affordable pearl choker. I can't tell you how many compliments I've gotten on it and the level of surprise people show when I tell them the price.

After lusting over it online for a while, I finally made this Jacquemus outfit my own. I love how it looks like a dress but is actually a skirt and top so I can get more use out of the set by wearing the pieces separately, too.

I haven't stopped wearing these mules since I got them a few weeks ago. They're so comfortable and, since they're all black, they go with any outfit in my closet but make them all a lot more interesting.

I'm on a big cardigan kick lately, and this cropped style by Maje is the latest in my rotation. I like to style it simply with a tee and jeans, but I'm sure it would look equally as good with a midi skirt or even tailored shorts once summer hits.

Another new necklace I'm obsessed with is this part-pearl-part-chain one from Adornemonde. I just think it's such an interesting take on the pearl trend that's everywhere right now and doesn't feel as preppy some can be.

Below are three pieces I already know I'll be wearing nonstop for the next few months. The skirt goes with everything and even served as a bathing suit cover on a recent trip, the bag is the perfect everyday size and shape, and the sandals are so comfortable and have just the right heel height for day-to-night.

I think this workout set speaks for itself, but I'll just throw it out there that I have never felt cooler in athletic wear. I love how it's a really simple cut but in a special color. These new sneakers have been so useful now that spring is here and black often feels too dark to wear with a lot of outfits, and the nearly sold-out fleece is finally back in my rotation now that the weather has warmed up and heavy coats aren't needed.

My colleague, Lauren, and I recently both showed up to work in Mary-Janes and socks on the same day—proving to us that the trend is very much a thing. I plan to wear them both with and without the socks at least through next fall, and perhaps beyond.
