30 Items the Who What Wear Team Will Buy in February
"What should I buy next?” It’s a question the Who What Wear team takes incredibly seriously. Perhaps it’s because we work in fashion that we approach every impending purchase with caution, rationing whether we truly need or want it. Will our love for it be everlasting or fleeting? Making the final decision is stressful, which is why we often turn to one another for advice.
Then one evening, we were chatting on our collective WhatsApp group when we began sharing our respective wish lists with one another. Screenshots went whizzing back and forth, and by the time it was over, we had a pretty strong edit of our favourite new-season pieces—all of which you’ll find below. From the coolest shoes and gorgeous tops to jewellery and beautiful bags, keep scrolling to shop our editors’ shopping picks for spring 2019…
Hannah Almassi, Editor in Chief
"This is the chicest and most comfortable summer dress I’ve seen yet. A real wear-forever kind of purchase (so long as I don’t spill patatas bravas down it).”
"These have been sitting in my wish list until I feel it’s appropriate enough weather outside to invest in a new pair of sandals. The time is coming.”
"When I’m OOO, I’ll be stacking up gold bangles to my heart’s content. They’re irritating when you spend all day typing, but so fun to jingle jangle when you’re free of the laptop shackles.”
"My mind has completely skipped the spring season and has moved onto my potential holiday wardrobe for a trip to Spain in June. This is an absolutely flashy piece of swimwear, but it’s still quite modest, and that’s what makes it work.”
Emma Spedding, Deputy Editor
"I wouldn’t normally go for lime-green, but this shade is soft enough to not wash me out.”
"I have two Alighieri necklaces which I love and wear everyday—and this would complete the set.”
"I tried this on for a Who What Wear wedding-guest story and have been thinking about it ever since.”
"This will be really easy to wear in summer with a white T-shirt and sandals.”
"I have been thinking about getting a shorts suit since last summer, and I think this is the one.”
"I got a pair of ATP sandals last summer and lived in them. I have my eye on these this year.”

"You’d never know this chevron stripe knit wasn’t the retro real deal.”
"I hate buying sunglasses (they never suit me), but this & Other Stories tortoiseshell pair might just be the answer to my prayers.”
"I’m a sucker for a ’70s collar, and Rejina Pyo’s shirt nails the throwback proportions.”
"I am more than a little obsessed with The Sleepers’s black PJs. They would be my go-to for every party.”
"Kudos to Topshop for creating this seriously high-end looking blazer, which will carry me through spring and into the summer months.”
"I know everyone has this blouse, but I still love it. I would wear with high-waisted, straight-leg jeans and heeled mules.”
Mica Ricketts, Deputy Beauty Editor
"I love jeans, but trousers have always felt a little outside my comfort zone. This twill pair feels like a good in-between option. I love the colour and always feel best in wide legs.”
"Definitely one for payday. I love the colour of this jumpsuit, and the linen blend fabric hopefully means that it’s lightweight enough to layer under knitwear now and wear alone later in the year.”
"Hair accessories are still having a big moment, and I really want to expand my repertoire. I love the shape of this one—and the tortoiseshell print.”
"I live in a basic office uniform of jeans and jumpers or printed dresses. I don’t normally go for a button-down frock, so I’m keen to see what this shirt-style silhouette looks like. Plus, I’m obsessed with the print.”
"Animal print doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, and I think this A-line leopard print will work well with a leather jacket and boots now and a white tee and trainers once spring actually arrives.”
"I’m having a real love affair with lilac right now—from nail polish to highlighters—and I’ve fallen head over heels for this seriously pretty blouse.”

"I’ve had my eye on a Wandler bag after seeing three of my fellow WWW team wear them daily, and this croc-effect leather one just got bumped to the top of my wish list. It’s big enough to fit my diary, Oyster card, lip balm and phone but not so big it’ll look out of place slung across my shoulder with a blazer.”
"Hello, perfect pair of high-waisted trousers. Be mine. I’m currently obsessed with boxy boyish trousers, and these Stories ones fit the bill perfectly. I love how flattering they are and the button detailing.”
"I have about 70 pairs of black boots but am yet to buy a tan pair. These Western-style boots have the perfect block heel for day-to-day and look expensive. Adding to my cart immediately!”
"Okay, so I find boilersuits hard, but I think this might be the one. It’s black, so I know it’ll look extra-chic when dressed up, but for the office, I’d team it with my white Adidas trainers for a more laid-back vibe.”
"I have three weddings to go to this year, and this dress is the perfect wedding-guest outfit. Since going blonde, I’ve been obsessed with anything blue, and this Rixo dress fits like a dream. Sold.”
"Someone is wearing these in the office today and they look so timeless. I need them in my ears, stat. Like the rest of Instagram, I’m loving anything with pearls, and these will go with pretty much any outfit.”
"If I’m wearing a dress, it has to be easy to throw on, wrinkle-proof and it should look great with trainers or boots. This Zara one is exactly that. Just look at that ruffled hem detail, too. So cute!”
