I Low-Key Shop For a Living—30 Items I've Been Freaking Out Over Lately
Most Wanted is a weekly series in which one editor, staffer, or influencer shares their top 30 must-haves or current wish-list items.
Though I spend most of my day looking through products—read: shopping—for stories, it's not everyday that I actually buy any. In reality, my personal shopping habits are pretty low-key. But sometimes, mostly around the beginning of a new season, a little devil appears on my shoulder that won't let up until a dangerous buying spree ensues. And with fall's arrival just over the horizon, I bet you can guess where that devil is located right now.
You see, even I, who resists the temptation to buy clothes, shoes, and accessories on a daily basis, can't deny myself when every single retailer is marketing hundreds of new arrivals, all of which seem like just the ones I need. What I can do, though, thanks to years of training, is narrow down my wishlist to a somewhat reasonable number. Ahead, see which 30 items made the cut. And hey, while you're at it, relieve me of my own shopping guilt by indulging a bit too.
These pants are so chic. The fact that they're $135 is just icing on the cake.
I just tried on this coat for a Mango story and after searching for years for the perfect trench, I've officially found it.
I've known about these insanely good chinos for a week now and I still haven't gotten over the fact that they're $30.
Maxi slip dresses are having a moment right now, and this one from Zara checks off every box.
A friendly reminder that Reformation makes a lot more than pretty dresses.
Shop the matching Devin Twill Vest ($128).
I already added the skirt to my wardrobe. Up next is this stunning corset top to go with.
Shop the matching Moni Skirt ($185).
If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably know all about my obsession with Wandler's Georgia bag. My next conquest? The Hannah bag.
I love pairing crewneck cardigans with denim shorts and loafers. It's my favorite summer combo.
I just got this dress in lilac, but this champagne option is growing on me as well. Tip: Flip it around and it becomes a completely different dress.
These tobacco-colored loafers will absolutely be coming home with me at some point in the next month. Give it time.
I thought I knew what love felt like—then I saw these boots.
Zara is my go-to for jeans. Ask anyone.
I searched all around Zurich and Berlin for this specific color and came up empty handed. Now I'm extra determined to secure them.
The drop-waist dress trend is happening whether you like it or not. But then again, how could you not like it when it includes this pretty LBD?
J.Lo's favorite emerging fashion brand made this shockingly good bralette that I simply must have.
