Christian Siriano just made quite the fashion statement, right on the runway of his S/S 17 show. Continuing to champion the plus-size model movement, Siriano cast a diverse group of women for his Capri-inspired collection, which featured a plethora of chic black-and-white separates and sprinkled in pops of orange and turquoise.
The 30-year-old designer is known for not just his gorgeous clothes but also making headlines for his inclusiveness. He’s dressed everyone from Michelle Obama to fashion blogger Nicolette Mason and successfully collaborated with plus-size brand Lane Bryant. This week, Siriano took to his runway to continue his support of women of all sizes. Five beautiful plus-size models strutted down the runways alongside the rest of the diverse pack, and they absolutely killed it in everything from crop tops to gorgeous bodycon dresses. It’s clear Siriano believes that all women deserve to feel and look amazing in their clothes, and with a size 14 being the brand’s most popular size, it’s refreshing to see a designer continue to create clothing that is stylish and inclusive.
