I've Seen Thousands of Street Style Images, and Everyone Is Wearing This Colour
I'll level with you: I've never been a fan of brown. When choosing more neutral or minimalist tones, why pick such a nondescript colour when there's black, white, cream or camel to pick, which are vastly superior? Oh, how wrong I was. This fashion season, I've trawled through thousands of street style pictures and I'd guestimate that at least half of the people snapped are wearing head-to-toe brown in some form or other. And it looks chic.
From leather separates to cosy teddy coats as well as corduroy suits, not to mention knee-high boots, there are so many varied ways to wear this colour. The other important aspect is that it's not just one shade of brown—it's the whole range. And wearing them clashing works just as well as if you're going for a full-on monochromatic look. I've been completely sold on this colour, so all that remains is for you to keep scrolling to see what I mean and then shop key brown items. You'll never look at this colour the same way again.
Style Notes: The brown leather, the light brown coat and the red hair that just sets it off. This is the perfect brown outfit.
Style Notes: Make your outfit all about the brown coat.
Style Notes: Don't forget to invest in brown accessories.
Style Notes: Light brown, if you're not a fan of the deeper shades, is a great way to dip your toe into the trend. Great if you're a fan of camel tones.
Style Notes: Pair a light-coloured brown jumpsuit with a dark-brown trench.
Style Notes: You'll never go wrong with a brown wool coat.
Style Notes: Opt for the '70s-inspired look with a brown suit.
Style Notes: Not persuaded by mahogany? Fear not—light brown is still a great way to do this look.
Style Notes: There's something so chic about a brown satin dress.
Style Notes: A wardrobe classic that will never go out of style? A brown leather jacket.
Style Notes: Ready to go all in? Try a brown suit.
