This summer was a summer of firsts for me. It was my first summer as an editor, my first summer seeing one of my close friends get married, my first summer living in SoHo, and my first summer going to Europe. Like many of us, summer after summer I watch stylish New Yorkers back up for a European adventure abroad full of boat days in Greece, shopping at cute boutiques in San Tropez, eating pasta in Positano, and high tea in London. I have daydreamed and romanticized my first trip to Europe for years, and finally, my dreams came true this summer. Now, of course, when planning for my European adventure, I first thought, "What am I going to wear?”

Keep scrolling to see the stylish items that helped me get my looks for my trip, and which outfits gained me the most compliments.

For each city I went to, I wanted a different vibe. The first stop of the trip was London. I have always heard that London is so much like New York City, and when I arrived I fell in love. For my London outfits, I wanted to go for a classic, flirty look for high tea with a Self-Portrait minidress and Dior Lady bag from Vivrelle. For a night out, I opted for a Cult Gaia midi dress that was so good I can’t wait to style it differently and wear it again. When we went to see Big Ben and the London Eye, the obvious choice for me was a simple and sweet Réalisation dress that was so comfortable. My London itinerary was full of shopping, high tea at Sketch, went pub hopping, and sightseeing. I'll definitely be returning.

I was going for colorful, romantic, Italian summer vibes for Positano. I embraced the colors that made me think of the beautiful city: yellow, orange, and pink. While there I enjoyed rosé on the balcony where I was staying, ate gelato twice a day, watched the sunset with cocktails in Sorrento, and went dancing in a cave. Of all the looks I wore in Positano, the Patbo jumpsuit was the most complimented look. I felt like an actual limoncello shot in this yellow House of CB dress, and I loved it.

Our final destination was Lisbon, Portugal. For this stop, I wanted a bold, colorful vibe with simple silhouettes and longer hemlines. I wore lots of orange and yellow and felt like my looks seamlessly matched the city's vibe. My itinerary was full of celebrations, as we were there for my friend's wedding. I wore an orange lace dress from For Love and Lemons for a welcome reception hosted by the happy couple and received tons of compliments. My favorite was the Réalisation dress I wore to explore the city and go shopping. It was the yellow sundress of my dreams.
