We don't question Bella Hadid's fashion moves—she is something of a modern-day style oracle, after all. And if she deems a corseted denim dress to be the next big thing, we're open to discussion. Thanks to Dior's new designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri, a more feminine spin has been placed on this very noughties idea. Britney Spears's iconic VMAs denim get-up was ultra-tight with a bandeau complemented by not only a matching denim maxi skirt but a denim-clad boyfriend. The 2017 iteration of this jean trend is far softer and more pared back: Her particular A-line frock has fine chain straps and hits just the right length above her ankles. Pretty.

But what of the rest of the week's style news? Keep reading to find out the latest.

Quit daydreaming and get down to business by checking out our S/S 17 trend guide here.

These German heels turn into flats and into midis too, so we reviewed them, of course.

They're seriously into dressing like Marissa Cooper from The OC.

We couldn't decide who we adored more—Michelle Williams or Emma Stone

Luckily our pals over at Byrdie rounded up the best £20-and-under beauty buys that gurus believe in. Cashback.

We celebrated with a bumper shopping special which you can still enjoy now.

We'll be copying this easy-peasy look all next week.

And finally, why not spend some time this weekend investigating the American e-store that Brit girls are getting into?
