Bella Hadid Just Confirmed This Shade of Blonde Is the Perfect Late-Summer Hair Colour
If you're looking for a shade to see you through August and beyond, you might want to check out Bella's latest look.
As a beauty editor, I know just how much influence a celebrity can have over this season's biggest hair colour trends, especially when it comes to Bella Hadid. When the star debuted her honey blonde hair colour in 2025, we suddenly saw everyone opting for this warm, multi-dimensional shade. However, in her latest Instagram post, it seems Hadid has switched things up slightly, opting for a sandy-blonde hue that, in my opinion, is the perfect late-summer hair colour to see you through August and beyond.
This month can be a tricky time for hair trends, with summer slowly coming to an end but autumn not quite beginning. As someone who always opts for blonde balayage during the warmer months, it feels far too soon to be getting the dark brown hair dye out, but it also doesn't feel quite right to go even lighter. Hadid's transitional hair colour feels like the perfect option, sitting somewhere in between a light brown and golden blonde, with smudged roots that only add to the late-summer appeal.

The best bit about this trend? It's surprisingly low maintenance. Yes, if you have naturally darker hair, then you will need to opt for some sandy blonde balayage, but thanks to the lighter brown roots, you don't have to worry about booking in for highlights every few weeks. Result.
To keep it feeling summery, I highly recommend pairing the hair colour trend with some beachy waves, just like Bella.
I do not doubt that we are about to see sandy blonde hair everywhere this season. If you're thinking about recreating the look, I've linked some of my favourite products below, from shampoos and conditioners to keep your colour looking fresh, alongside my go-to styling products to get that beachy finish. You are welcome.

Dyeing your hair can leave your ends feeling dry, but this hydrating hair mask from Gisou will boost shine and leave your strands silky soft.
This is my favourite hair tool for creating undone, beachy waves.
