Is Air-Drying Better Than Heat-Drying?
The jury is still out on this debate. On one hand, leaving hair wet for a prolonged period can cause it to lose elasticity, making it prone to breakage. At the same time, Simmonds points out that air-drying carries zero risk of heat damage. "The best way to air-dry successfully is by understanding which products and in which order they need to be layered," he says. "To avoid frizz, once you've set it, keep it hands off."
