I'm a Beauty Editor—49 Gift Sets I've Saved to My Personal Wish List
These 2025 holiday collections did not come to play.
I'm a beauty editor, so you'd assume I'd steer clear of any skin, hair, or makeup-related gifts on my holiday wish list, right? Wrong! While I do have the luxury of testing lots (and I mean lots) of product launches every week, I still find myself bookmarking the most iconically festive bundles to snag at a major discount. (Hey, it's job research!)
I'm also constantly fielding questions from friends and family members about what beauty products are *actually* worth the price, to which I always say: Take advantage of sets! That way, you can score double (or triple) the product for so much less. What's more, brands typically launch exclusive (read: visually stunning and wildly marked-down) versions this time of year, so there's never a better time to get your hands on the spendy best seller you can't stop thinking about. But I digress. Below, find the 49 gift sets I'm personally eyeing for myself and my loved ones this year. I also broke them all down by beauty category so you can keep your wish list organized. (As a type-A editor, I certainly appreciate an efficient structure.) Happy shopping!
Fragrance Sets
Tom Ford fragrances were made for layering. My personal favorite pair is Oud Voyager and Vanilla Sex, but I personally can't wait to give Lost Cherry and Soleil Blanc a go. I can already tell the sizzling solar-gourmand combo will be irresistible.
Chloé's Atelier des Fleurs Cedrus perfume is one of my all-time favorites (I wore the intense version on my wedding day!), so this five-fragrance sampler is calling my name. Each potion sounds more expensive-smelling than the next, from magnolia- to jasmine- to sandalwood-infused blends.
Good Girl is the ultimate date-night scent. (We said so in our all-time best perfumes guide.) The amber-floral dazzles with notes of jasmine sambac, almond, and tonka bean, a composition that honestly makes me feel more glamorous with every spritz. This limited-edition holiday set also includes the travel spray and body lotion, so you can really douse yourself in the gorgeous blend from head to toe.
Nope, this is not a drill. You can casually score five MFK fragrances (including the cult famous Baccarat Rouge 540) for $315. Considering just one of those bottles will normally set you back $355, this is major news.
I've said this before, but I'll say it again: I'd bathe in Amouage Guidance if I could. This three-piece set is as close as it comes to dousing myself in the sweet, elegant blend, as it features a scented shower gel and body lotion in addition to the eau de parfum itself.
Orphéon is made for the cool girl. Dark and alluring, the cedarwood, tonka bean, and jasmine blend is inspired by Parisian jazz clubs and functions as the ultimate party perfume.
It's as if a perfume set was made just for me. Bal d'Afrique, Blanche, Mojave Ghost, Gypsy Water, and Rose of No Man's Land are some of my all-time favorite Byredo scents. It's the perfect little collection: something vibrant, something clean, something warm and woody, something fresh and fruity, and something unmistakably floral.
Henry Rose's Dave is one of the most sophisticated vanilla perfumes I've ever tried. (It won a coveted spot in our WWW 100 Beauty Awards for a reason!) When layered with Queens & Monsters, an earthy floral, the concoction somehow becomes even more mysteriously intoxicating. It's no wonder the two best sellers now come in a limited-edition pair.
Any fragrance beloved by Kendall Jenner is a winner in my book. Sublime has a cool, earthy mix of mandarin, peach, vetiver, patchouli, magnolia, and leather that makes it an A+ pick for fall and winter. It's bright, juicy, and a little bit surprising thanks to that grounding leather note, and it's housed in a sculptural bottle that doubles as an objet d'art.
Trust me, you don't know how much you need an elevated laundry detergent until you actually try it for yourself. I actually received my first luxury soap as a gift (and now I refuse to use anything else), so consider this me returning the favor. These recently launched bottles contain fine fragrances with endless layering potential and a sillage that lasts up to seven days. Meaning, you'll easily catch whiffs of sandalwood, bergamot, or jasmine with every fluff of your collar.
Skincare Sets
These tiny yet mighty capsules are essentially a one-way ticket to smooth, glowing skin. Each contains a highly concentrated serum at the exact dose you need, so you can ensure you procure the quickest, most effective results. Retinol and ceramides are arguably the most popular dermatology darlings, so this BFF duo is definitely a no-brainer buy.
A mixed bag of editor-loved classics and recent launches, this discovery set is made for the avid beauty fan on your list. As a beauty editor myself, I'd be giddy if someone were to drop it on my doorstep. It features products I love and genuinely fear running out of (like those 111Skin eye masks) plus stunning newbies I can't wait to get my hands on, like the Eliou Scrunchie.
As beauty editor Kaitlyn McLintock once said, you could literally do cartwheels wearing these eye masks, and they would not slide off. They're an award-winning favorite among the entire WWW beauty team, so this kit—which also features a cooling ice globe and the brand's brightening eye cream—is such a treasured find.
Caudalie's Instant Detox Mask and Beauty Elixir mist are two of the brand's most TikTok-viral best sellers, and they make quite the effective pair. Use the clay mask to draw out all the gunk from your pores; then give yourself a generous spritz to rehydrate and leave behind a healthy glow.
If you know me, then you know how much I adore IS Clinical's Cleansing Complex. It helped clear up my congested skin this summer, yet it's gentle enough to use year-round, especially when I follow up with the soothing Hydra-Cool Serum.
U Beauty's Super Hydrator is my ride-or-die moisturizer. Quick anecdote: I ran out of it four days before my wedding, and I sprinted to my nearest Cos Bar to restock, lest I go a single night without slathering it on. The Resurfacing Compound is another one of my heroes, as its multipurpose formula smooths, brightens, and evens tone.
If you thought I'd ever shut up about Dr. Diamond's InstaFacial Collection, you are sorely mistaken. Each product is worth snagging full size, but if you're new to the magic, I highly recommend testing the waters with this discovery set. Just be prepared to fall head over heels ASAP.
You might know melatonin as the famous sleepy-time hormone, but it actually has a significant role to play in skincare—namely, with cellular repair. As such, my skin barrier has never looked healthier since adding this plant-based melatonin serum into my routine. When paired with the Hibiscus Night Cream (which calls upon a special neuropeptide derived from hibiscus seeds), the skin-smoothing effects increase tenfold.
Haircare Sets
I never want to be without my trusty Dream Coat. It makes my frizz-prone strands look like glass, which is exactly how I want to appear strolling into upcoming holiday parties. This set includes a full-size and a mini bottle, which is great news for my travel plans.
I'm constantly testing new haircare products as a beauty editor, so it feels like my shower lineup is constantly in flux. One thing that doesn't change, however, is my obsession with Rōz. When I'm gunning for a good hair day, I'll reach for the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, and luxurious treatment oil—all of which you can find in this handy set.
I'm on a mission to resuscitate my curls this winter (they're currently looking flat, limp, and rather lackluster), and this Pattern bundle created by curl queen Tracee Ellis Ross is just what I need. Each product provides juicy definition while infusing strands with much-needed moisture.
Crown Affair's Air Dry Mousse is one of my favorite mousses for curly hair of all time. It's as close as it comes to effortless hair in a bottle, adding body and texture without leaving my strands crunchy whatsoever. The leave-in is also a major MVP among the editor set, and don't underestimate the microfiber towel—a secret weapon for softer, shinier lengths.
Remember when I said I was focused on giving my hair extra TLC this winter? Well, this pre- and post-wash oil duo is high on my must-have list. The former makes for a lovely, follicle-stimulating scalp massage, while the latter locks in moisture and infuses strands with immediate shine.
Makeup Sets
Refys's Duo Face Brush is one of my favorite makeup brushes ever, period. I use mine every single day, but I'll admit I'm due for an upgrade. I'll certainly be taking advantage of this set, which includes two of the brand's most swoon-worthy cream blushes.
I had to include at least one Wicked collab, right? Of course, I'd be remiss not to highlight the set created by Glinda herself. Each product is imbued with Glinda-fied shimmer. Though, my favorite has to be the opalescent glossy balm—a pink shade swirling with lavender and blue tones and aptly called Tap to Bubble.
If you have yet to get your hands on a Summer Fridays Blush Balm, now's your chance. The shade Pink Sunset delivers the perfect kiss of peachy-pink. That Pink Sugar Butter Balm speaks for itself (it's a cult favorite), while the lightweight Cloud Dew Gel Cream Moisturizer creates a plump, dewy canvas.
Who doesn't want to receive that signature orange box? Enter the chicest lip balm and oil duo you'll see this holiday season. That lip oil comes with not only a rosy tint but also a corresponding scent created by perfumer Christine Nagel, which makes it feel like even more of a treasure.
I refuse to leave the house without at least two Ân-Glosses in my bag. The formula is smooth as butter and so unbelievably hydrating that I genuinely look forward to reapplying. I honestly can't pick a favorite; the clear Original version makes a top notch lip mask, Berry Crumble has the most perfect rosy finish, while Spice Cake is begging to be worn all fall and winter long. It's a good thing this set exists, so I don't have to decide which to refill.
Bodycare Sets
I cannot wait to break out this four-piece set during my next "everything" shower. It features a dry brush to support circulation pre-rise, an exfoliating bar to manually slough dead, flaky skin, and a body butter and oil to encourage your glowiest limbs. I just know the routine will make my skin feel like cashmere.
If you want your home to feel like a luxury resort in the south of France, allow me to introduce you to this sophisticated handcare set. Like its name suggests, the fragrance's notes of gardenia, sandalwood, cardamom and casaba melon transport you straight to the Cote d'Azur. The duo has not left my kitchen sink since I opened up my sample.
Proper bodycare is a year-round venture, but during the winter months, it's even more important to keep the skin nourished. (This is coming from someone who frequently struggles with cracked, borderline reptilian shins during this time.) My recommendation? Turn the routine into a spa ritual. This set makes it easy with a pre-exfoliating foam to unbind dead skin cells, biodegradable exfoliating body gloves, a purifying bodywash, and a fast-absorbing dry body oil. You'll be floored by the resulting silkiness.
I may not be able to take an impromptu trip to St. Barts, but with this set, I can mentally transport myself there with every rinse. The tropical blend of dragon fruit, orange blossom, tuberose, and Baltic amber is Ouai's number one requested scent, so I suspect this cream, cleanser, and mist trio to absolutely fly off the shelves.
