Eleanor Vousden
September is here, and beauty advent calendar season has officially started. 2025's advent calendar offering is already something special indeed, with some of the best skincare brands, makeup brands and perfumes on offer. As we're sure you're well aware, in the world of beauty, we're always looking ahead, so we're already excited for the ultimate countdown—the Christmas advent. We're patiently waiting to see Christmas adverts on the TV and lights going up along high streets across the UK. Yes, the big day is still a little way away, but we think you'll forgive us for getting ahead of ourselves once we reveal the subject at hand. Beauty advent calendars have grown in popularity over the last few years, and for many brands and retailers, including Liberty, Harrods and Cult Beauty, the beauty advent calendar has become one of their most in-demand launches.
In fact, beauty advent calendars and perfume advent calendars have proven so popular over the past few years that you've got to be quick if you want to get your first choice. Our inboxes started to fill up last month, with imagery and press releases from some of our favourite brands, each message pertaining to their beauty advent calendars. Considering it won't be long before people start thinking about Christmas, we decided to get one step ahead and make it easier for you to find the best beauty advent calendars by listing them all in one place.
We've laid everything out from prices to products, so keep scrolling to discover and shop (providing you're quick enough) the best beauty advent calendars this year has to offer. And don't worry, we'll be updating our list regularly with new drops as we get them...

Beauty Advent Calendar FAQs
Which Brands Have Beauty Advent Calendars for 2025?
The demand for beauty advent calendars has skyrocketed in recent years, which has tempted many a brand and retailer into creating a beauty advent calendar of their own. Some of the most popular include Liberty, Harvey Nichols, LookFantastic, Marks & Spencer, Charlotte Tilbury, Jo Malone London and Cult Beauty, to name but a few.
When Do Beauty Advent Calendars Go On Sale in 2025?
Some beauty brands launch their advent calendars as early as September, but by mid-October, most brands have released their beauty advent calendars. Right now, lots of our favourite brands are opening waitlists so that you don't miss out. Certain calendars sell out quickly—including Liberty, Charlotte Tilbury and Cult Beauty—so don't wait if you want to get your hands on the one you want.
What's Inside a Beauty Advent Calendar?
Last year, we found a wide selection of beauty calendars that covered all your makeup, skincare and self-care needs. Liberty's beauty advent calendar offered luxe skincare from Augustinus Bader and Sunday Riley, whilst Jo Malone and Diptyque offered up a selection of fragrances and candles. Dedicated brands tend to feature their very best products, whilst e-tailers like LookFantastic let you try a variety of brands during your countdown to Christmas.
Are Beauty Advent Calendars Worth It?
It's no secret that some beauty advent calendars can be quite the investment, so we totally understand why people often ask us if they are worth it. In our opinion, they really are. If you are a beauty-lover like us and you want to try out new brands and trending products, beauty advent calendars are the perfect way to do this. Plus, most calendars offer impressive savings, with many being worth much more than they retail for. Not only that, but many advent calendars offer both full-sized products alongside travel-size minis, so the value soon adds up.
How We Chose the Best Beauty Advent Calendars
So, you're probably wondering how we chose the best beauty advent calendars. Not only that, but we've also tried to include something for everyone, whether you are into quality skincare, affordable makeup or luxury fragrances.
