Jennifer Lawrence Is the Latest Celeb to Ditch Oval Sunglasses for This Trend

Jennifer Lawrence has been in sunny Los Angeles as of late, where sunglasses are an essential accessory. Accordingly, stylish celebrities in Los Angeles are a great source of sunglasses trend inspiration. And late winter is usually when the new trends start to emerge.

Over the past several years, it's been oval sunglasses or bust. I think that oval sunglasses are a classic shape that stands the test of time. But when we're talking about the freshest trends, oval shades aren't "it." What is "it" is oversize aviators. Jennifer Lawrence just joined celebs like Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Angelina Jolie in wearing them—specifically, a pair of Bottega Veneta metal-framed ones. Metal-framed aviators are the most classic choice, but we're also seeing lots of acetate-framed ones this season, from the likes of Bottega, Gucci, and Khaite x Oliver Peoples, to name a few.

Keep scrolling to see how chic Lawrence and others look in oversize aviators, and shop our favorite pairs for yourself.
