Angelina Jolie's $68 T-Shirt Is the Basic You Need in 2019

Just like Angelina Jolie herself, her style is elegant, polished, and sophisticated. Even when running errands, it includes lots of structured, tonal pieces that could just as easily be worn at the office (if she had that sort of job). Speaking of running errands in elegant outfits, Jolie did just that this week in Los Angeles.

For the occasion, she wore a midi skirt and nude pumps with a Max Mara coat she's been photographed wearing in the past. But what really got our attention was her top. We quickly recognized it as being one by Los Angeles–based brand Dôen, which has garnered plenty of celebrity attention since its launch a few years ago. The brand's line of soft, feminine T-shirts quickly sell out whenever restocked, and Jolie chose one of our favorites for her outing: the Kami top.

If your sartorial resolution in 2019 is to stock up on basics, you'd be wise to consider this one. It's the layering piece your wardrobe has been missing. Wear it under blazers, cardigans, sweaters, denim jackets, etc., or just wear it solo with jeans. It's versatile enough to quickly become a staple in your closet. Keep scrolling to see how Jolie styled the Kami top and shop it along with our other favorite Dôen tees.
