6 Spring Accessories Trends You Can Acquire for Less Than $50

If you're anything like me and have grown to be more mindful with your shopping, chances are your spring wardrobe is already in pretty good shape! Buying fewer, better things means that I've built a foundation of pieces I love to wear—some year-round basics, some investment-worthy staples to wear forever, plus some more interesting colors and silhouettes that maybe aren't your typical capsule wardrobe pieces, but I love them so much that I wear them on repeat.
Since my spring apparel doesn't need too much attention, but I'm still a person who loves a little seasonal update, I'm turning my attention to accessories. When it comes to bags, hats, footwear, jewelry, and all those other touches we use to elevate our looks, there are some spring trends already shaping up that are bound to define summer as well. The good news? They don't have to be an investment to bring some extra energy to your spring outfits. Whether your taste is strictly elegant or entirely practical (or so classic that you're in need of a fun touch of on-trend color to break up all those neutrals), there's something here for you. And I promise these secretly affordable buys won't set you back more than $50.
Snake Print
Honestly, if you were looking to invest, snake-print accessories are a great place to do so—they're just as wearable as a plain neutral, I promise. These affordable options are ready to bring a little Khaite-coded energy to your spring looks.
Headscarves
If the abundance of headscarves is anything to go by, most of my feed is—at least mentally—already in Sardinia on summer vacation. Given how we all leaned into this past winter's cozy wool bonnets, it's no surprise we're already transitioning into wearing this easy summer accessory with our spring looks in the city.
Rope Belts
The belts really are belting at the moment—but this belt trend is a little chiller than the multi-belted outerwear that was popping up on the streets at fashion week last month. Trending leather (and vegan leather) rope or cord styles are as perfect with jeans as they are cinching a blazer.
'90s Caps
This off-duty accessory really has become a year-round staple. Ralph Lauren styles are having the biggest moment of all, but there's room for any classic cotton cap that looks like it may have been borrowed from your family''s garage on a trip home, particularly in navy, brown, or butter yellow.
Pops of Sky Blue
Bright, sky blue feels very spring—a little punchier than the pastels that are also trending, it's ready to bring all that spring energy to an otherwise neutral look. And if you've invested in brown and burgundy over the last year or two, you're going to love how they play together.
Silver Cuffs
Silver jewelry really continues to be the moment, and I've been spotting statement cuffs on fashion people everywhere. The vibe is more sculptural, so look for imperfect shapes that feel a little unique—there are some great under-$50 ones at Nordstrom right now.
