The latest re-release is one that originated in the 1950s as a pair of soccer shoes but reached peak popularity in the 1990s: the Samba sneakers. As Footwear News points out, "The Millennial obsession for this type of childhood nostalgia is well documented, which is perhaps why Adidas has decided to re-release the iconic sports shoe."
As of yesterday, the original unisex style is available in a variety of hues, and this time around, Adidas designed an updated version exclusively for women, the Sambarose. They feature a platform sole and soft, smooth leather and are sure to be a strong contender for your go-to summer sneakers.
