How to Make Your Body Look Its Best in a Swimsuit
Swim season is upon us, folks. And let's be honest, when you slip into a new suit, we believe you should always feel comfortable, if not 100% confident. To help ease the anxiety of swimwear season, we teamed up with Everything But Water Creative Director Sabra Krock, who also happens to be one of the leading swim-fit experts in the field. She shared her pro tips for the swimsuits that look best on every body type, from athletic to curvy. Below, see her recommendations along with a few options to shop now (because let's be honest—you can never have too many suits).

"You can accentuate a toned rear with a bottom that has a vertical seam in the middle," Krock tells us. "If you have a less curvy bottom, a boy short provides a sporty look and looks great on your shape."
"Suits that tie on the side or are ruffled at top or bottom create the illusion of curves," Krock advises. "A swimsuit bottom with less coverage will make the rear appear fuller and curvier. Bold prints and horizontal stripes also create the appearance of curves."
"A bikini bottom that ties on the side or is adjustable accommodates curves while ensuring a secure fit," Krock recommends. "Play down curves where desired with dark, solid colors."
"Try a skirted bottom," Krock strongly suggests. "It's a feminine swim look that offers more coverage. For the most flattering look, a skirted bottom should hit the top portion of the thigh."
"Banded hipster bottoms lie softly on the middle and don't pinch, so you can avoid tummy spillover on the bottom," Krock says. "High-waisted bottoms are also great for covering the tummy and are very on trend!"
