The Heels That Will Prove to Your Friends You’re a True Fashion Girl
It’s the shoe style we never expected to see return, but thanks to luxury French fashion house Céline, low-vamp heels are back, and everyone’s on board. With its simple silhouette, it’s the easy update our pumps have been waiting for. The low-v works to elongate the leg, and slim the ankle, so it’s a style that’s flattering on everyone.
The trend is relatively new, popping up for the first time since the ’80s during the A/W 16 show circuit, and now, with enough different options out there to shop, it’s time to jump on board. The shape may feel quite fashion forward at first (I felt like they were too pointy when I first tried a pair), but they’ll quickly feel normal after one or two wears.
We love the style when paired with everything from stirrup leggings, to denim shorts—it’s versatile and easy—and we’re making it our new every-day shoe shape.
