We've said it once, and we'll say it again: It's going to be a flat-shoe autumn. All year, flats have been in the lead, beating out even our most beloved ankle boots, trainers, and sandals, and the hype isn't slowing down anytime soon. In fact, we keep seeing new flat-shoe trends emerge left and right, which tells us that their influence is only growing. With ballet flatsmesh flats, and studded flats already on the menu for autumn, we didn't think we'd see another style bubble up so soon, but we were wrong. Suddenly, slingback flats are everywhere we look, and we have the celebrity outfits to prove it.

Recently, we've noticed that the most stylish A-listers are opting for slingback flats en masse, and if that weren't enough to tip us off to the rising shoe trend, the diversity of styling ideas is cementing them as the season's new versatile staples. Hailey Bieber, for one, is a fan of her Saint Laurent Blade Flats with both baggy jeans and slip dresses, while Addison Rae is testing the style with tailored trousers (and finding success).

Ahead, see all the ways the A-list set is styling their flats now and shop the best slingback flats along the way.

We're adding Elsa Hosk to the growing list of celebrity fans of these sleek Saint Laurent flats. Here, Hosk styled the patent-leather flats in the most polished way with an A-line midi skirt and tube top. It's an outfit that could easily be repeated in the autumn by swapping the top for a simple jumper.

Taylor Swift's slingbacks from Reformation are a fresh take on classic loafers that we haven't seen much of yet. Here, she wore them for a casual outing in NYC with shorts and a printed tank.

When you don't want to wear heels on a night out, take a cue from Hosk's outfit and pair these flats with a cool LBD.

Here's more proof that the slingbacks work flawlessly with dresses courtesy of Kendall Jenner, who styled a sheer Gucci number with the brand's famous crystal mesh slingbacks.

While celebrating her wildly photographic and Chanel-filled wedding in the South of France, Sofia Richie Grainge opted for a classic pair of slingback flats from the French house, which lend a casual but chic finish to her tailored dress.

This simple but brilliant Bieber outfit is one worth repeating throughout the autumn: leather jacket, white tee, relaxed jeans, and slingback flats.

Chrissy Teigen's fishnet slingbacks add the perfect dose of trendiness to her wardrobe-staple combination of jeans, a black blazer, and white tank.

While Brie Larson's matching shorts set could have easily gone with trainers or sandals, the actress paired them with her Chanel slingbacks for a pretty polish while out in Cannes.

Bieber is rarely seen in anything other than heels after dark, so it's telling that she set her stilettos aside in favor of slingback flats for a dinner out in NYC.

While stepping out in NYC, Addison Rae took the flat-shoe style for a spin and proved just how well they can work with tailored trousers.
