Trust Me—Buy These 23 Things

Did you catch my Trust Me—Buy This post last time? If so, you’re ready to start shopping! If not, read on.

If you’re new to this, once a month I share my favorite fashion pieces of the moment but with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping roundup. These special selects are the items I’ve been loving not only online, but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing this month. Common themes to expect? Handbags, dresses, beachwear, and shoes—just some of the things I hoard—and, of course, a mix of high-end investment pieces and budget-friendly steals I think you’ll love. Simply to continue on to see and shop my picks!

I may have to stop adding necklaces at some point, but for now, I’m really enjoying my newest addition—a rose-gold pendant with the letter N on it. Also this dress seems to have the perfect neckline for showing them off!

Available in sizes XS to M.

I’m obsessed with everything about this bag. From the material to the way it closes to the shape, everything about it is functional yet so statement-making.

The material of this Fella bikini is too good to pass up. Also, since buying this chain belt, I’ve gotten more use of it than I ever thought I could.

Top and Marco Bottom ($80) available in sizes XS to L.

Available in sizes XS to XL.

Anything versatile is a yes in my book, so it goes without saying that this shirtdress has proven a worthy purchase. It makes for a cool cover-up by the beach or an easy outfit to wear day or night.

Nothing in this roundup comes close to garnering as many compliments as this Reformation top has.

I never thought I’d be into toe-ring sandals until I came across this flattering, barely there pair on Revolve.

Given the current temperatures, for now, this sweatshirt is reserved for wearing around the office, but I can’t wait for fall when I can layer it under every jacket I own as a pop of color.

Available in sizes S to XXL.

This floral dress is full of pretty details like the covered buttons you see in the photo above. Also, if the belt looks familiar, it’s been in this roundup before, but I’m saying it again: Everyone needs it!

Available in sizes S to L.

Available in sizes XS/S to M/L.

As the least-sporty person ever, I don’t just like this Patagonia tee for the irony factor—it also has an amazing fit and pretty color scheme. It goes perfectly with my lilac belt bag, which I can’t believe is even still in stock.

Available in sizes XS to XL.

These jeans are one of the cooler pairs I’ve worn in a while. They also helped ease my somewhat irrational fear of white denim thanks to the dip-died detail at the top.

Available in sizes 23 to 29.

As one of the defining trends of summer, I had to get my hands on a shell accessory, and this necklace is the prettiest one I’ve seen so far.

You know those pieces that just make you feel good? That’s how I feel about this flattering LPA crop top and these high-waisted jeans by Ulla Johnson. I’ve gotten more use than I ever thought I could out of them both.

Available in sizes XXS to XL.

Available in sizes 0 to 10.

PSA: These Who What Wear collection bags are $35 and $20 respectively and look 10 times that combined price.

The material, bias cut, print, and colors of this dress are all simply striking. I dressed it down for work with a T-shirt but could also wear it to an event without it.

Available in sizes XS to XL.

I’ve actually had these shoes for over a year and not only still love them, but they don’t seem to be going out of style any time soon either.

I never thought I’d get so much use out of a Hawaiian shirt, but I was definitely wrong because I’ve worn this one from Aritzia more times than I’d like to admit.
