What are your tips for transitioning from summer to autumn dressing?

I’m all about denim. As the temperature drops I like to have cool denim jacket and a well cut pair of jeans on rotation.

What is one summer style you’re not ready to give up?

A printed midi skirt! I’ll be warming up with layers up top so I can keep my wardrobe favourite on the go throughout the cooler months.

Which trends do you predict will be big this autumn?

Block colours like greens, pinks and mustards, rendered in interesting fabrications likes satin and textured knits. For accessories sassy ankle boots and structured mini bags from brands like Jacquemus and Marni.

How to dress for unpredictable weather in a stylish way?

It’s all about smart layers. Breathable knits which can be added and removed at the drop of a hat, lightweight jackets and cute accessories like neck scarves

Any advice for incorporating summer pieces into autumn outfits?

Partner socks and hosiery with strappy heels (the secret to keeping your summer footwear on high rotation). Also turtlenecks for layering—it's the coolest way to stay warm while still wearing your favourite summer dresses, layered over top.

The go-to staples everyone should have this season?

A great pair of ankle boots, a turtleneck sweater, a souped-up denim jacket and a printed midi skirt. Oh and a cool pair of tights (brands like Gucci, Fendi and Balenciaga have some super fun styles if you wanna splurge on a designer pair).

What is the biggest mistake people make when transitioning their style from one season to the next?

Spending up large on new season pieces when a lot of the summer styles in their wardrobe could easily be layered up and worn throughout the cooler months. Especially summer dresses and skirts which are so easy to layer!

How do you maintain personal style, while also trying out new, seasonal looks?

I don’t like to buy too many new pieces each season, so if I’m investing in a new trend it will only be one that is totally true to my own style. I have to know I’ll still wear it even when the season is over otherwise it’s a waste!
