“Always pay attention to your footwear choice. A boot with a chunky heel, for example, is great for everybody. It’s a fail-safe shoe. That said, it’s always better to be more minimal with your boots because the boots shouldn’t be the look. The look should be the look. The boots should essentially be serving the look. I do like a little hardware though—just nothing crazy. You don’t want it to seem like you’re trying too hard where it looks like you’re putting in a lot of effort.” —Sanchez
