Call it the Top Gun: Maverick effect, but aviator jackets are everywhere. While the OG shearling jacket skyrocketed in popularity thanks to Khaite, unlined, non-furry bomber jackets are starting to pick up traction as we head into the spring.

The fashion crowd can't get enough of a worn-in leather look, especially since Miu Miu's chocolate biker boots went on sale. The same vintage-inspired concept applies to jackets, with faded charcoals and warm cocoas making up the majority of bomber jackets on sale. Unlike most other outwear trends we're predicting will take over in 2023, flight jackets and aviator jackets are nothing short of wearable, going with nearly each and every incredibly chic outfit.

Below are 26 bomber jackets that are living in Who What Wear editors' heads (and closets!) rent-free ahead of the new season.
