The Boot Trend I'm Betting Will Be a Thing in 3 Months

Gambling is bad, but gambling on trends is good, at least it is in my book. Call me a risk-taker, but placing bets on the coming season's heavy-hitter trends is probably the most exciting part of my day. Now I don't want you thinking I'm blindly swaying you toward one trend or the other—my guesses are well-educated and ones I'm quite proud of if I do say so myself. The trend I'm here to inform you of today is one I'm betting will be the biggest boot trend of the season—snakeskin boots.
Designers like Rejina Pyo, Tory Burch, Zimmermann, and more accompanied their fall runway looks with slithering soles of all kinds. Knee-high boots, ankle boots, over-the-knee—you name it—there wasn't a boot style left untouched by this textured fall boot trend and that's just the way we like it when it comes to new styles to try. This way, there really will be a style for everyone. While the fashion girl might gravitate toward a more statement-making, slouchy over-the-knee style, the more classic dresser might opt for a simple pair of block-heel ankle boots. Are both on-trend? Absolutely.
Yes, it might be a tad aggressive to start shopping for your idyllic fall 2018 wardrobe, but in case you're already ready to fill your seasonal shopping cart, we shopped out the best snakeskin boots on the market. And to further prove my point that this trend prediction was an educated one, I dropped in some of my favorite images of snakeskin boots on the F/W 18 runways. Can't wait to see you slither into this trend in just three months.
Snakeskin boot plus a glitter heel? I think I just died and went to fall boot trend heaven.
It's about time you start treating snakeskin like a neutral. Trust me, your fall wardrobe will thank you.
These are folksy and eclectic in the best way.
In case you went into this story thinking colored snakeskin boots were tacky, here's a cool street style photo to prove otherwise.
Pretty sure this shoe will go with most of your favorite items. Jeans? Yes. LBDs? Yes. The list goes on and on.
Currently picturing these underneath a silky midi skirt accompanied by a chunky sweater. Man, I can't wait for fall to come.
What's not quite a pair of boots but not quite a pair of shoes? These, I guess.
If you're a classic dresser, snakeskin boots will add an easy element of texture to your (probably) head-to-toe black look.
