Believe it or not, there's a world of cool and functional sneakers awaiting you beyond the Nike and Adidas kingdoms. While these two powerhouses certainly have a stronghold in the market, there are lots of other brands to consider as well. If you happen to be on the hunt for some running shoes—or, you know, shoes to go shopping in—then it wouldn't be a bad idea to take pointers from Reese Witherspoon.

Witherspoon has been frequently photographed wearing Hoka One One Clifton 6 Running Shoes ($130), whether she's at her kid's soccer practice, running, or going shopping. If you aren't familiar, Hoka One One was founded in 2009 and is currently owned by Deckers, the same parent company as Ugg and Teva. Witherspoon has purchased at least two slightly different versions of the shoes, which proves that she's a committed fan. The reviews on Nordstrom's website are also convincing: 18 out of 20 shoppers gave them five stars and many of them noted the style's comfort. Feeling persuaded? Scroll down to see how Reese Witherspoon has worn her Hoka One One sneakers, and shop them for yourself.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
