"Pyramid" Heels Are the Coolest New Shoe Trend
Earlier this year, we introduced you to Amina Muaddi, the Jordanian Romanian creative and footwear designer who has collaborated with Alexandre Vauthier and recently launched her own footwear line. Her shoes are already catching the attention of several big retailers like Net-a-Porter and Fwrd, and today we’re highlighting a new heel style that’s become signature to her luxury line, based in Milan. While Muaddi does offer a selection of your standard skinny stiletto heels, the styles that stick out the most are the designs that have a pyramid shape at the bottom of the heel. We’ve provided several visuals below.
The shape and detail are such a fresh take on traditional heels and, if I had to guess, lend a bit more comfort since the bottom part is sturdier than a normal stem heel. While we’ve only seen one other brand hop on the “pyramid” heel trend, it’s only a matter of time before more designers experiment with the fun feature. See how Muaddi has re-created the classic shoe style and shop all the pyramid heels from her glamorous footwear line below.
