Princess Eugenie Just Revealed Her "Eye-Opening" Wedding Plans

Just in case Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding wasn't enough, we have another royal marriage to look forward to this year. Princess Eugenie got engaged back in January, and she's set to wed Jack Brooksbank on October 12. In advance of the wedding, as well as her sister Princess Beatrice's milestone 30th birthday, the duo chatted with British Vogue for a rare interview.

"I'm not stressed at all," Princess Eugenie told British Vogue about her impending wedding. "It's very nerve-wracking because you want it to be perfect, but then you realize that you're going to be with the person you love forever and nothing else really matters." The magazine also revealed that Princess Eugenie is planning her wedding just like anyone else would: with Pinterest boards. She's also hyper-focused on going completely plastic-free. "It's been eye-opening," she shares. "My whole house is anti-plastic now—and Jack and I want our wedding to be like that as well." Could that be a first for a royal wedding? While we wait for her much-anticipated nuptials, scroll down to see the princesses' rare Vogue photo shoot.

Erin Fitzpatrick
Senior News Editor

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern over 12 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of senior news editor (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
