VIP stylist Sandy Koszarek offered up the exact categories and items she thinks are worth buying from the sale.

"The Anniversary Sale is the perfect time to refresh your denim. With many styles available, you can stock up on straight-leg, bootcut, and flared denim."
Jackets/Coats
"Nordstrom has many beautiful coats on the Anniversary Sale at excellent prices. I recommend investing in classic wool coats, puffer jackets, and moto jackets."
