Nike's New '90s Floral Sneakers Caused a Shopping Frenzy
Fact: '90s looks are here to stay. We're still channeling Winona Ryder's peak style days and we'd never pass up a pair of '90s jeans. Our next fixation comes courtesy of Nike, which resurrected a floral print from its '90s archive to make one seriously cool pair of sneakers. Of course, the shoes sold out soon after launch, but we'll be crossing our fingers for a restock.
"This special edition of the Air Max 1 features an all-over heritage print called 'Solar Daisy,' created in the late '90s for All Conditions Gear apparel by Nike pattern designer, Amanda Briggs," the product description reads. "Through the process of manipulating the images of aboriginal paintings, petroglyphic art, rock and sand formations, and layered leaves, the print encapsulates the artist's deep, personal connection to the outdoors."
