3 Reasons Why You Should Try the Goth Trend Next Season
Myer presented its A/W 17 collection showcase last night to an intimate fashion crowd in Melbourne. The runway was hosted in a car-park, which turned out to be one of the most Instagrammed and talked about highlights of the night.
As POPSUGAR Australia reported, the red carpet style was almost as good as the clothes sent down the runway with Jennifer Hawkins leading the way in a white Sass & Bide gown, and Lindy Klim turning heads in Maticevski.
While the runway was a curation of mini trends, one of the standouts for us was the dark, moody florals, lace, leather and mesh pieces, which proves the Gothic trend is set to be huge next season.
Keep scrolling for the three reasons you should try the trend in autumn.
Dark florals are clearly here to stay for autumn. We love the look when worn with dark eye makeup.
Proof that double leather can work. Just add something to break it up like a necktie.
Mesh is set to be a huge trend next season, we saw it all over New York Fashion Week.
