Every Stunning Italian Hotel Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Stayed at During Their Honeymoon
The newlyweds are road-tripping around Italy, and their itinerary includes the most sought-after hotels, from the famous Il Pellicano to a Francis Ford Coppola–owned villa.
Nobody is having a better summer than Dua Lipa, and that's a fact. On the heels of her stunning weekend-long wedding to Callum Turner that took place at an 18th-century hilltop mansion in Palermo, Sicily, the pop star has been doing what she does best: vacationing like it's her full-time job. For their honeymoon, the newlyweds have eschewed the traditional single-destination itinerary for a road trip throughout Sicily and mainland Italy, and naturally, that includes stops at some of the most renowned and sought-after hotels.
The couple has been spotted swimming, sunning, and sightseeing all over the map on what's surely set to define romantic getaways for the foreseeable future. Thanks to the enviable photo gallery that Lipa just uploaded, we're getting even more glimpses inside their seemingly never-ending vacation—including, importantly, the stunning hotels they're staying at along the way.
We're detailing every address where Lipa and Turner have stayed on their dream Italian honeymoon, from the famed Hotel Il Pellicano, where Slim Aarons captured some of his most well-known images, to the villa in southern Italy that's owned by filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola.
Every Hotel Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Visited on Their Honeymoon in Italy
Hotel Il Pellicano
Where: Porto Ercole, Grosseto
Lipa and Turner have most recently been spotted sunbathing on one of the iconic yellow striped loungers at the Hotel Il Pellicano. It was originally created as a private hideaway in 1950 by a young American couple before becoming the backdrop to many of Slim Aarons' most-recognized photos, making the cliffside resort an idyllic destination for a romantic holiday. The guest list alone is heavily star-studded, including everyone from Jackie Kennedy to Sophia Loren.
Villa Treville
Where: Positano, Amalfi
The Amalfi Coast is well-treaded territory, but the stunning Villa Treville is still one of the area's best-kept secrets made up of just 16 suites and a private beach club, giving the resort an air of exclusivity that has attracted many A-listers over the years including Elizabeth Taylor and Jennifer Lopez.
Hotel Locarno
Where: Rome
Hotel Locarno is charming boutique hotel tucked away on a quiet road just off the Piazza del Popolo but adjacent to all the best luxury shopping on Via Condotti. It's a favorite among tastemakers, fashion editors, and now pop stars for its 1920s Art Deco style.
La Posta Vecchia
Where: Palo Laziale, Lazio
Just a 40-minute drive from Rome sits La Posta Vecchia, an historic 17th-century villa that was once the private seaside mansion of billionaire J. Paul Getty. It's also the sister property of Il Pellicano and was featured in an episode of Emily in Paris season 5.
Palazzo Margherita
Where: Bernalda, Basilicata
Situated in the southern region of Basilicata at the arch of Italy's heeled boot is Palazzo Margherita, a lush hideaway restored and owned by filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola. Lipa posted images diving onto her perfectly-made-up bed at the villa and a screening of the 1948 Italian neorealist film Bicycle Thieves played from a projector onto one of the hotel walls.
San Domenico Palace, A Four Seasons Hotel
Where: Taormina, Sicily
The wedding festivities began in Palermo, and shortly after the pair departed for their first stop in Taormina on the eastern coast of Sicily, specifically to stay at San Domenico Palace, a Four Seasons Hotel. The 5-star stay rose to fame as the filming location for Season 2 of The White Lotus, and it's build in a restored 14th-century convent with sweeping views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna.
