Jennifer Lopez Just Wore the New-Season Colour Trend That Will Be Huge Next Year
I think we can all agree that it's been a rather epic year for colour trends. Whilst official colour trend predictions are usually left to the experts at Pantone, this year, influencers and TikTok users have been quick to create colour trends themselves, dubbing "banana-milk yellow", tomato red and "espresso brown", amongst others, as the main colours of the past 12 months. Whilst I've found myself partial to styling all of these shades, this winter I'm favouring a flourishing colour trend that is set to take off next year and has already been endorsed by none other than Jennifer Lopez. I'm talking about the "latte" outfit trend—and it's as wearable, versatile and expensive-looking as colour trends can be. Already a firmly established beauty trend, we're now seeing latte tones move into fashion, and we couldn't be happier about it.
Styling a button-down trench coat in a light latte shade, Lopez opted for a tonal look, pairing her trench with camel-coloured trousers and a white top. Incorporating different shades of the latte spectrum, she topped off her casual look with a cream handbag and brown boots.
Light neutrals were spotted in abundance across the runways during Fashion Month in September, appearing at Acne Studios, The Row and Khaite; styled with tonal, neutral shades and bolder colours alike, such as red, blue and black.
If, like Lopez (and me), you're looking to get a head start on the new trend, shop her look below along with my pick of other delicious-looking latte pieces.
