How New Zealand Girls Accessorise
In her latest column for Who What Wear Australia, Jaime Ridge of Dillon Dot talks us through how New Zealand girls love to accessorise.
Today, I’m putting a spotlight on accessories. You’d be hard pressed to find a girl in any country who doesn’t love a good accessory update. New Zealand girls generally dress on the more casual side, so accessories play an important role in our wardrobes. I’ve narrowed down three trends I see New Zealand girls wear repeatedly.

It’s no secret neck pieces are trending, and the choker, arguably this season’s accessory sensation, is a piece New Zealanders seem to love. My personal favourite is a ribbon choker. The best part is, it’s so easy to achieve. Pop into your nearest fabric store and you can easily DIY this at home but selecting your fabric and snipping a long strip. Get creative!

Earrings have been dominating from the runway to the street. Shoulder grazing statement earrings are too hard to resist.
