Holly Willoughby Just Wore an M&S Outfit in Our Favourite Spring Colour
Given the rainy weather we experienced over the weekend, it can be easy to feel like we are very much still in the depths of winter. Though as we enter the first day of February, I'm choosing to take the optimistic approach and celebrate the fact that we are one (albeit small) step closer to spring.
Holly Willoughby seems to have to similar mindset, as the television personality is already updating her wardrobe to include some spring shades. Over the weekend Willoughby posted an image of herself wearing a full look by Marks & Spencer which included a pastel green coat, alongside a merino-wool knit in a similar shade. Holly then finished the outfit with white jeans and lace-up sneakers. Ever the ray of positivity, Willoughby accompanied the image with the caption, "So nice to be able to welcome in a new season with spring pastels… there’s a rainbow on the horizon."
And if the S/S21 runway collections are any indication, Holly is correct. Between vibrant pink hues and multicoloured feel-good prints, spring is shaping up to be full of smile-inducing shades.
Though, if you're less inclined to go for a statement-making look, the subtle mint hue Willoughby has chosen above might just be the colour for you. Choosing a pastel green coat or knit is the perfect way to add a little colour to your outfit while maintaining an understated aesthetic.
